Detailed Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Cunca Wulang – Wae Rebo

    • Scenic drive from Labuan Bajo to the hidden canyon Cunca Wulang Waterfall
    • Trek through lush forest and swim in crystal-clear natural pools
    • Continue to the Manggarai highlands and trek to Wae Rebo Village, a UNESCO-recognized traditional village
    • Take part in a light eco-trail cleaning activity along the route (responsible tourism)

    Overnight: Traditional Mbaru Niang house (Wae Rebo)

  2. Day 2: Wae Rebo – Lingko – Ruteng

    • After breakfast, descend from Wae Rebo while continuing eco-trail awareness with local guides
    • Visit the iconic Lodok (Lingko) spider-web rice fields
    • Optional afternoon activities:
      • Visit Liang Bua Cave (Homo floresiensis site)
      • Explore Ruteng local market

    Overnight: Ruteng

  3. Day 3: Ruteng – Ranamese – Bajawa

    • Travel across central Flores with scenic mountain landscapes
    • Visit Ranamese Lake, a volcanic lake surrounded by rainforest
    • Stop at:
      • Aimere traditional arak distillery (palm liquor)
      • Belaraghi traditional village (optional)
    • Relax at Malanage Hot Spring, then enjoy sunset from Manulalu Hill
    • Arrive in Bajawa

  4. Day 4: Mount Inerie – Bena – Moni

    • Early morning (03:00) start trekking Mount Inerie, one of the most dramatic volcanoes in Flores (approx. 6 hours round trip)
    • After descent, visit Bena Traditional Village, a megalithic cultural village
    • Continue to Moni with scenic stops:
      • Blue Stone Beach
      • Black sand coastal area

    Overnight: Moni

  5. Day 5: Kelimutu – Ende

    • Early morning drive to Kelimutu National Park to witness the three-colored crater lakes at sunrise
    • After breakfast, visit Wolopaku coffee plantation
    • Continue to Ende for airport drop-off or onward journey
